Success Story

Lilly Uganda

Lilly is a 3-year old Ugandan girl with Cerebral Palsy, resulting in significant malnutrition and poor health.Since receiving support from a MAITS trained village health worker she has put on weight and is much healthier and happier. She now enjoys mealtimes, she likes to play and to go out of the house carried on her mum’s back. Her mum feels relieved – she spends less time on care, less money on medicines and is really happy to see other members of the family playing with Agnes and helping her too.
