Faryal Khan has over 16 years of experience in the charity sector, fuelling change every step of the way. She holds a Master’s in International Relations, adding a great depth of understanding to her practical work. Faryal also possesses rich experience in television & media, which brings unique communication skills to our team at MAITS. Faryal’s diverse background ensures she sees things from multiple angles, making her an invaluable asset to our charity.

Jenny holds a B.A. (Hons) in Theology and Philosophy from the University of Exeter and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. She has a keen interest in supporting children to reach their potential. Jenny is a qualified teacher with 8 years’ experience of teaching in schools in the U.K. and Australia. She has worked for MAITS since September 2022.

Melody is the owner of Waterworth Consulting, a non-profit management consultancy. She is a generalist who has managed various projects across multiple sectors, including monitoring and evaluation, climate and sustainability, communications strategy, social media management, and research. Melody supports MAITS in building and managing our Social Media and Communications Strategy.

SADIA MIRZA

Director of Operations

With 12+ years managing operations for global charities, a Master’s in HR Management & an associate CIPD member title to her name. A diverse background as a qualified engineer, working with industries from manufacturing to sports. From her zeal for global capacity building to her dedication to the welfare of marginalised communities, Sadia has been a beacon of commitment to MAITS since 2011.

MIRANDA MILLAN

Fundraising Consultant

She has successfully fundraised millions of pounds for third sector organisations. In addition to practical managerial skills, she has a legal background (Paralegal Diploma/MA Human Rights) and will shortly hold a PhD in Human Sciences. She has worked in the third sector, public sector and postgraduate education, has a background in health research and has significant experience delivering targeted services for marginalised communities. She has been designing and delivering training, campaigning, building strong partnerships, and leading on charity management and governance for more than ten years.
